Cielo Sereno Observatory is the main alternative when shelters are unavailable or unsafe. It sits in northeastern Pendola Pass. Start with its control rooms, inspecting exposed surfaces and searchable metal containers, then extend into connected areas only while the situation remains manageable.

Almatera Station works best when your existing route already passes through it. Check station shelving and rooms, then inspect train seats and tables for loose loot. Finish one train interior before moving to another so you do not repeatedly search the same surfaces.

The station's locked room is an additional opportunity, not a requirement for every attempt. Do not turn all three destinations into a compulsory circuit. Pick one primary location and one fallback, then change the route when you secure the material.

Confirm Progress After Extraction

Count only the Laser Levels you successfully bring back toward the expansion requirement. After extraction, check your stored materials against the Outpost's displayed requirements. Finding an item during a raid is not the same as securing it for the upgrade.

Keep the first three reserved rather than selling them while gathering Sheet Metal or Insulation Rolls. If the expansion remains unavailable with three Laser Levels secured, inspect the other material counts and the project's earlier objectives. A missing notification indicator alone is not enough to judge whether progression has stopped.

Avoid Searches That Waste the Run

Inspect loose-loot surfaces before deciding a location is empty. Checking every storage container while skipping shelves, seats, and tables can leave your target behind. Conversely, circling already searched rooms will not make a Laser Level appear.
